On Ricoh printers, the configuration page (also called the Config page) is an information page that can be printed out with detailed data about the machine's status. Do I uninstall printer? Do I just try to reinstall using the Wizard? Can I install not using Wizard? How do I get rid of Wizard? All in the Features area are Deselectable (Is this a word?), including " paper available". There is no way to select another option. In General Tab in the Features area the display says "Color:NO" In Control Panel>Printers>select mine (G55)>right click on Properties. I am using Windows 2000 Professional non-networked just my personal computer. I get color only when copying and viewing in Print Preview mode. I have an Officejet g55 and installed it via Printer Wizard using HP site for G55.
My printer copies in color, I can see color in Print Preview mode. It automatically pops up to install anything. I installed using Windows 2000 Add Printer Wizard. All in the Features area are Deselectable (Is this a word?), including "paper available". In Control Panel-Printers-select mine (G55)-right click on Properties.
